　　μPAC-5001D-CAN2它是一种掌上型的可编程自动控制器(PAC)，内含丰富且多样化的周边与通讯端口，能够整合CAN bus、RS-232、RS-485与Ethernet等多种不同通讯接口的设备。

　　为了增加模块的开放性与应用的弹性，μPAC-5001D-CAN2产品提供了类似DOS操作系统的实时单工操作系统(real-time single-task operation system)。 用户能够通过C / C++语言开发满足各式需求的应用程序。在应用程序开发方面，μPAC-5001D-CAN2产品提供各种周边组件的函式库与范例程序。
　　如此丰富的函式库，使用者也许会困惑该如何使用?为此，泓格科技也提供相关函式库的范例程序。如果使用者需要使用各种通讯端口、看门狗、实时时钟(RTC)、七段显示器等周边功能，或于Flash、EEPROM、MicroSD存入与读取数据，甚至是利用64-bit硬件唯一序号保护所开发的应用软件，都可以藉由修改与合并这些范例程序，轻松而快速地完成符合各式需求的应用程序开发工作。
　　为了适应工业严苛的工作环境，μPAC-5001D-CAN2产品，除了低功耗与无风扇的设计外，也于电路设计上加入各种抗干扰的保护组件，并满足了宽操作温度与宽工作电压的要求。
　　依据上述的各项特色，μPAC-5001D-CAN2产品非常适合运用于整合各种通讯接口的数据收集器或作为数据处理中心，也或者将它设计成为转换不同通讯协议的网络网关或网桥。
